Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a student for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill when compared with her peers and was contemplating a different path she might follow. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. The group did not appear on the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. She was the vocalist of The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and 1980. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her first solo album Diva that was out in 1992. It received lots of praise from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul tunes from her upbringing. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox published Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. is an accompanying piece to her art installation at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You Go... It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. The group went on in the 1980s, to be the cult duo Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992 by releasing the album Diva. It featured many popular songs including walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa the album from 1995 studio has covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous or The Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with seven studio albums by herself as well as a compilation.
