Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child one of Richard McCormick. Her father worked as an educator at school and her mother as a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her older brother. She has three siblings. McCormick started dancing and singing from a young age, and often performed show-like puppets in front of the children from her neighborhood. When she was just six years old, old, she won an award in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency approached her and asked if she'd like to go into show business. McCormick was commissioned to perform in her debut major role in 1964 in a tv commercial for Mattels latest doll Baby Pattaburp. The following year she starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial and was then cast for The Wind It Up And It's Breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned to play the youngest daughter of the trio of towheaded girls in The Brady Bunch. The show featured Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a blended family. The show ran for five years. McCormick's autobiography Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in 2008. In it she revealed that McCormick nearly lost her virginity on the set of the series during the fifth season when it was played by Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book Here's the Truth: surviving Marcia and Finding My True Voice that in season five on the show, she was close to losing her virginity to Barry Williams. The incident could have occurred, she said but the timing was never right for us.
