Luciana Paluzzi
Luciana Paluzzi is one of the many brunettes who were prepared to become world-class stars following the success of Gina Lollobrigida. In the 1950s. Paluzzi worked on both sides of the Atlantic for films like Three Coins in the Fountain and Sea Fury. She was granted the opportunity to make her debut as an American TV star in the part of Simone Genet in the 1959 spy-weekly Five Fingers. The year was 1965 when she met with the Bond producers and was a candidate for the lead girl Domino Derval's character in Thunderball. Terence Young gave her Fiona Volpe as a model, and she is one of one woman who is able to resist Mr. Bond's enticements. Fiona Volpe is murdered in the midst of a dance floor by Bond's personal friends, perhaps to punish her for her deeds. James then places her deceased body in front of a table, and asks "Do you feel that it is okay if my companion stays at with me at home?" That's not the fault of Fiona. Luciana Paluzzi was able to keep up her European career through the 70s through the blockbuster. The films like Captain Nemo & The Underwater City (in 1969), The Six Million Dollar Man (in 1973) as well as The Klansman(in 1974) and The Greek Tycoon were all made during the decade.
